Reisecker's Travels I

A culty Austrian road movie:
Documentary filmmaker Michael Reisecker sets off on a journey across Austria to the sounds of Sportfreunde Stiller. With a camera concealed in his eyeglasses and an audio recorder in his pocket, he encounters a variety of people in a spontaneous and direct manner. Reisecker gets them to tell their life stories, which are full of oddities, eccentricities and everyday matters. Because the camera’s hidden, viewers have a sense of being more than just observers, and feel like active participants.
REISECKER’S TRAVELS is a combination documentary and road movie driven to seek out the unusual, and experience the country and its people in a refreshingly new way.
