Synopsis

 
Today's diffuse idea of fatherhood unsettles many men and is the result of centuries of dissolution of paternal authority. Starting from the current image of the father, the film takes a look back at the cultural history of fathers. Numerous works of art history and examples from literature and film history trace the change of the father from prehistoric times to the present day.
